• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Peds >15 years old. Various Trauma injuries (only level 1 trauma center for the system, take in a lot of transfers and/or ED admits), Sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, cardiac arrest. CVPs, IABP and Impella-core staff will take if no exp; Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time. Zoll-Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuse
• Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics

• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): 0630-1830, 1830-0630 // self-scheduling, managed by manager based on unit needs
• Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Floating Requirements: All over to the inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU
