ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED!
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
The majority of patients served on 19 James are admitted with the following patient care needs: Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration Soft tissue malignancy receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy and symptom management. Symptom management secondary to disease related treatment or progression. -Management of comorbidities.
-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
*Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system Bladder Scanner Alaris pumps Stryker beds
Requirements Minimum 2 Years RN experience required Certs: BCLS Ratio: 1:4 Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED! EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!

Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass.*

All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team.

Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are
required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission.
MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable.
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
