Everything you need to know about getting your PT license to practice in California.
Physical Therapy Licensure Compact
The PT Compact allows physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to practice in member states through a Compact Privilege, without obtaining additional state licenses.
California is not a PT Compact member state. You will need to apply for a California PT license by endorsement, regardless of whether you hold a compact license in another state.
